If you like the hunger games, you'll like this one.

Temo is a trans teen and he lives in a colonized world where there is the lethal tournament conducted. But when his boyfriend, Ollin, is kidnapped he would have to enter the tournament to save him.

Honestly, as a person from India, which was a British colony just 70 years ago, some of the things gave literal shivers. I could understand some of the nuances in the book.
Temo, Ollin and other characters are really well written and the world building is good. I did feel the pace could have been little quicker towards the middle.

Overall, a great YA dystopian book. Add it to your tbr!
